Ngaiwa Phala

This dish is eaten for breakfast, preferably sweetened with a lot of sugar.

What You Will Need:

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup ngaiwa (whole ground dry maize)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • dash of salt

How to make it:

  1. Combine ingredients in a saucepan and cook over high heat stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook covered for 15 minutes.
